All Saints Day Party

Mother Mary

Juan Diego

Halloween

Dorothy!  Maybe I am biased but isn't she just the perfect Dorothy?

The Old Northeast did an amazing job.  This house and the house next door had a long table separated by a fence that mimiced a tea party.  Everyone had a part to play from Alice in Wonderland.
Again, biased but seriously.... Cutest monkey EVERY!

 Cousins!

Nana and Dorothy!~

Mega trick or treating craziness!

De Lucia palooza was a hit.  This is only a fraction of the pictures taken during our week of family fun.  I will continue to post as the days go on.  We are very tired but very happy that the week was so awesome.  Still not sure how 13 people slept in this house but it worked!

We went to an Asian Fest, the bunny park (water fountains), COSI, a movie and so much more.  Such a happy time!  Now I am busy making a photo book of the trip.  Darn you photo books!  Now I can motivate to scrapbook anymore! lol

Has it been a month?

Has it really been a month since I have updated?  I would like to write that it's because I have been so busy but that's not the case.

Right now I am in Steubenville with my daughter, two sisters and my mom.  The good news is my sister graduated, turned 22 and got engaged to an amazing man.  The bad news is that my mom got diverticulitis and has been in the hospital since we got here.  Now the doctor is worried about pneumonia.  It has been crazy.  My one sister and I are living out of a hotel room.  We had to leave our other hotel because Olivia got bed bugs.  (Confirmed by the local peds doctor).  Sick sick sick.

My mom is pretty down being stuck in the hospital and my sisters and I are trying to keep her spirits up.  We need prayers all around.  Olivia and Joey, my nephew, have been amazing but the lack of structure and routine is wearing down both my sister and I.  We take joy in Glee, ready made cosmopolitans/ mojitos and Tim Hortons coffee.

I'll be back to C-bus soon.... just not sure when.  Thanks for the prayers and love.  - T

This is my favorite picture.  No matter how hard I try to get a nice picture, something like nose picking happens.  What are you going to do.

Easter dinner at a friends house! My child did have a cute Easter outfit on by the way.  She decided to play dress up in a leopard dress.

So overall I am happy with my purchases. I especially love the deodorant.  It WAS worth the effort.  (Only 5 doubled coupons per day, per customer) With that being said I can freely write about how I will NEVER go back to KMART again.  As Liv and I walked out of KMART today I told her that mommy would never bring her back to KMART.  Of course, in true Liv fashion she asked 'why'.  I had no words for her at the time.  But oh do I have words now.

Top 5 Reasons why I will never go back to KMART:

5.  The store aisles are super small.  Maybe Target has spoiled me but man, there was no room to walk within the aisles.  It was claustrophobic in there.

4.  Their prices suck.  Seriously, KMART prices are NOT that good! I have had to go back three times to really verify that KMART is not a discounted store.  For some reason I always thought that it was a lower priced store but alas, it is not.

3.  No one knows what is going on unless it has to do with something that you really WANT to do.  For example, no one knew about the the DOUBLE coupon event until the day of.  Hmmm.  No one is really sure about prices, sales, etc.  And you almost feel like you are burdening them to get help.  But when I tried to make two separate purchases with two different rewards cards I felt sirens go off.  'Oh no, we can't do that!'.  'But I have two rewards cards'.  "No, no cannot do that.'  'Got it'.

2.  It is aesthetically yuck in there.  Again Target has really done wonders in the beauty department.  KMART is not very pretty.  Of course I know that life isnt based on 'pretty' but maybe in retail it is.  If I am going to be in your store I want to feel comfortable there.   If I am going to be dragging my almost four year old up this aisle and down the other, you can at least make sure the aisles are spacious, bright and have a nice 'red' feel to the place (Target reference).

1.  I guess the number one reason why I will never go back to KMART is because I am a Target lover.  That's right. I said it. I love Target. I would live in there if I could but I cannot.  So I will settle for great prices, a pretty store, friendly employees who all speak English and Starbucks!  How can you beat a Starbucks in the store?
