Here is my freshly painted lavender wall and our new princess-head board-crown- thing. Liv was so surprised when she saw it. Our good friends got their little one a really amazing slide bed and it has been all Liv has talked about. I was trying to think of ways to 'make' a slide bed considering our financial situation and the only thing I could think that might substitute would be a canopy. We always had them as little girls and I loved it! Now we just need to find a twin bed.....I'm trying to figure out what to put on either side of the crown. I don't want to overwhelm the wall but I do think it is missing a little something. Any suggestions?

This is adorable. No idea what to put on the wall... you know I am bad w/ decorating. This is just too cute though!
Stampin' Up has great wall decor elements. They come in all colors (including white) and even have one that is princess themed. I'll show you later!
we just bought a mattress and then a headboard from craigslist that was white. we also found a mattress frame from craigslist for free...it looks good and it was about 150 altogether.
I like Kelly's wall decor suggestion, maybe also some silk flowers or ivy? It's turning into such a cute room!

Love the room T! Whatever you put on one side I would put on the other for symmetry. And I might do something like pictures to add a personal aspect to the room. Two 8x10's hung vertically on each side in Sepia would look cute. Pick pictures you love. (Sepia is a little bit softer then black and white) Close ups are always great. Maybe one when she was a baby or when you and Ant first held her - pick four of your favorite pictures. The frames need to be fairly thick since it seems like a big space to fill. I would go with a cream frame because it is softer then black or brown. I have many more thoughts on this, but won't go into further detail because I will look CRAZY. lol Love you and miss you! Happy painting! Liv is a doll!! I would like to see her in person soon.... =) ps. Don't hang anything until you get the new twin bed because the headboard will probably change the height of where you want to hang...kwim??
I love the room! Yes, interior painting can be lots of fun and very soothing.
Hmm, on the other side of the crown? How about a mirror? A mirror can make a room seem larger and of course every princess needs a magical talking one :)
